What is your memorable East-Meet-West moment? I was born in Guangzhou China and moved to Vancouver Canada when I was 11. I am the hybrid of eastern and western cultures. When I was studying for a fashion design bachelor degree in New York, I integrated Chinese traditional ink drawing with Western geometric in creating garment silhouettes. Last year, during the time when I was pursuing my interior design master's degree in London, I participated in Belgium's tourist center reconstruction project. By combining Chinese traditional tenon and mortise techniques from abacus with Western modern industrial design, not a single nail or screw is required to complete the interior construction.
